Fuel Good Day Celebrates 10 Years

We are proud to join co-operatives across western Canada in celebrating 10 years of giving back through Fuel Good Day on Wednesday, September 15, 2026 and we are looking for charities to be the recipient of the funds raised throughout Prairie North Co-op that day. Every year on Fuel Good Day, Co-ops across western Canada donate a minimum of five cents per litre of fuel purchased at participating gas bars to local charities and non-profits. This year, many local Co-ops led additional initiatives, such as BBQ events, prize games, c-store beverages, car washes and more, with proceeds contributing to the overall success of Fuel Good Day. There were more than 220 organizations selected as recipients for Fuel Good Day in 2025 across the Co-op Retailing System. Together, we've raised approximately $5.6 million since the event began in 2017.

With the support of our customers, members and the community, Prairie North Co-op has raised an average of $10,000 a year since 2017 for local charities through annual Fuel Good Days. That is an amazing $90,000!
